Mas Sabes El Diablo por Viejo que por Diablo
As a child, I would always ask my dad (Cuban) how he came about his wisdom. He would always reply "Mas Sabes el Diablo por Viejo que por Diablo." The direct translation: "The devil knows more because of his age, than because of being the devil," in other words "with age comes wisdom." My mom also had one I need help with; I don't remember the exact Spanish words. Basically it means that "everyone will find his/her match," but in Spanish it had something to do with "for every rip there is a tear waiting." Help!
