Staff HRIS Analyst

Job Description

Research, analyze and gather and understand all HR business processes. Be able to identify which processes are right for process enhancements/re-engineering. Able to identify where the processes can be improved and what changes are required i.e. tasks, process flow, tools, etc. Able to work with appropriate resources in and out the department to execute on those changes. Create appropriate HR documentation SOX, desk procedures, process flows, etc relative to the HR processes supported.
Participate in the Continuous Improvement and Project work that involves technology tools.
Create Run, and Analyze HR data reports to support the various HR functions and HR Management needs. Understanding of HR Metrics and create relevant information presentations from the data.

Job Requirements

BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience.
5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst within Human Resources or working in IT supporting Human Resources business applications such as any of the major HR PeopleSoft application. PeopleSoft 8.x is strongly preferred.
PeopleSoft 8.x experience working with any of the major HRMS modules. Experience with Self-Service (Manager and Employee), Workflow, North America Payroll, T&l and Benefits modules is a plus.
Have a working functional knowledge of Human Resources and how technology can be used to advance the HR function.
Must be proficient in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, user documentation and end-user training materials.
Exceptional critical thinking skills, possesses broad based knowledge of information systems and processes with an aggressive approach to data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrates high capacity for self-directed activities. Collaborates well with peers and all levels of Management.
Must have ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues, formulate recommendations, and analyze data and present findings to HR management team.
Experience in working with project oriented environments as well as matrix model team organizations.
Well organized and detailed oriented. Must be capable of managing multiple assignments.
Has a good oral and written communication and presentation skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Applied knowledge of the SDLC and software development methodologies.
Proven ability to prioritize competing needs of multiple, rabidly evolving initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Motivated self-starter who is also detailed oriented, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing situations, commitment to successful teamwork.
