Jun, 17International Week "Hispanic Night"This letter is to cordially invite you to participate in our upcoming International Week festivities, scheduled for June 16 through Thursday, June 19 and Sunday, June 22 (no activities on Friday and Saturday, 6/20 and 6/21). This event is being sponsored by Divine Faith Ministries International (DFMI), a non-denominational, multi-cultural church, under the leadership of Pastors Donald & Gwen Battle. DFMI is one church, with locations in Jonesboro and Duluth, Georgia. Our theme for this event is “The Gathering of Nations.” The purpose of International Week is to create greater awareness and appreciation for the various cultures and nationalities that exist in our community, as well as to give us an opportunity to interact with each other. The celebrations will include various speakers, musical and dance performances, food (and non-alcoholic beverages), costumes, exhibits and much more. To review physiological and clinical implications of aging, the close associations of aging to cardiovascular disease, and the impact of aging processes on functional capacity and quality of life in older adults. 2. To understand the political, social, and financial implications of cardiovascular aging, and the related burdens to the United States as our population ages. 3.
