Dear Friends:

It is a great pleasure to introduce The National Society for Hispanic Professionals (NSHP). I have always dreamed that there would be a Society to empower Hispanic Professionals with networking & leadership opportunities and to provide information on education, careers and entrepreneurship. For these reasons, the NSHP was born!

Every professional needs leadership and networking opportunities. The rise of Internet job posting and resume sites has made managing our careers much easier. However, most jobs are still found and obtained through personal contact. NSHP seeks to expand your network by giving you the opportunity to connect with professionals with similar goals and interests.

It's also a fact that Hispanics are under-represented in Corporate America and Government so we believe it's necessary for NSHP to promote Hispanic employment and advancement in Corporate America.

Originally from Guatemala, I came to the U.S. in 1994 to study. Upon completing my studies I started my own business and realized how much easier and convenient it would have been, had I belonged to a community like NSHP. Today, we are striving to make NSHP a unique source of opportunity in professional development, educational services, and personal fulfillment for Hispanics.
